Version 0.2.0, released October 13, 2026.Release notes

Windows

For this device

Windows 10 or 11 (x64).

  • Installer (.exe)

    Hatoba_0.2.0_windows-x64-setup.exe10.0 MB

    SHA-256185897021238d7321c6dc435af9815a0438c9d367ba7ecda2f423d1d754cc82f

Install

Download Hatoba_0.2.0_windows-x64-setup.exe and run it. It installs Hatoba for the current user and needs no administrator rights. The installer is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may stop it: choose More info, then Run anyway.

Linux

For this device

x86_64. Sync keeps its credentials in the Secret Service, so it needs GNOME Keyring, KWallet, or another Secret Service provider.

  • Debian and Ubuntu (.deb)

    Hatoba_0.2.0_linux-x64.deb11.3 MB

    SHA-2564812a0aeb9562ddba569fd86ea372a83627f50e1acede901807e43b6fbce3f10

  • Other distributions (AppImage)

Install

On Debian, Ubuntu, and distributions based on them, download Hatoba_0.2.0_linux-x64.deb and install it with sudo apt install ./Hatoba_0.2.0_linux-x64.deb. On other distributions, download Hatoba_0.2.0_linux-x64.AppImage, make it executable with chmod +x Hatoba_0.2.0_linux-x64.AppImage, and run it.

macOS

For this device

Apple Silicon, macOS 13 or later. This build is experimental.

  • Disk image (.dmg)

    Hatoba_0.2.0_macos-apple-silicon.dmg10.0 MB

    SHA-256cb3eb52023bfba5c8852a03377ba95be7d01bdf9a007cc40a2a577e525a410c2

Install

On macOS 13 or later, download Hatoba_0.2.0_macos-apple-silicon.dmg, open it, and drag Hatoba to Applications. The app is not signed with an Apple Developer ID or notarized, so macOS blocks it the first time you open it: close the warning, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, choose Open Anyway under Security, and enter your login password. After an update, macOS may ask whether Hatoba can use its keychain items: enter your login password and choose Always Allow, because sync fails if you deny it.

SHA256SUMS.txtlists the checksum of every file in the release.

Hatoba is developed on Windows, so the Linux and macOS builds get less testing. If something doesn't work, please open an issue. Open an issue
